  　　斗拱的結構一共由四個部分組成，分別是：拱、翹、昂、斗與升。  

       

  　　(1)拱  

       

  　　拱就是于建筑面相互平行的一個弓形構件。  

       

  　　(2)翹  

       

  　　于建筑面積呈45°、60°、90°角的弓形構件。它和拱差不多，只不過擺放的方向位置不同。  

       

  　　(3)昂  

       

  　　在唐宋時期，昂是斗拱中的一個斜放構件，起到一定的杠桿作用。到了明清時期時，昂的結構作用逐漸下降，多起到裝飾作用。  

       

  　　(4)斗于升  

       

  　　斗是位于上下兩層的昂翹或是橫貢之間的木塊，開的是十字口;升是位于上下兩層拱或者是枋之間的位置，開的是一字口。  

  

    

  　　斗拱在我國木質建筑中起到一個什么樣的作用呢?  

       

  　　斗拱在中國建筑中有如下幾個作用：  

       

  　　(1)因為它是位于立柱和衡量之間，所以能很好地分散掉載荷，減輕立柱的壓力，有承上啟下的作用。在平坐建筑中它也是其的重要支撐構件。  

       

  　　(2)能讓建筑物出檐效果更好，看起來深遠莊重，另建筑造型看起來更加大氣、壯美。其用于室內的話還有承托天花枋、組構室內天花的作用。  

       

  　　(3)中國傳統木制建筑采用都是榫卯工藝，所以斗拱有很好的承重效果，可以穩穩地將屋檐托住，起到了平衡穩定的作用，還具有很好的抗震效果，這也是為什么現存的很多古代建筑在遭受了強烈的地震后還能巍然屹立的原因。  

       

  　　(4)是一個建筑等級的標志，在古代中國的封建社會中，只有皇宮貴族使用居住的建筑有斗拱。其中包括宮殿、寺觀、陵墓、園林等有身份的建筑才能享有其的使用權。所以斗拱的使用不僅是建筑等級的標志，也是屋主身份的一個隱形標志。
